Governance Dashboard

Your AI governance, centralised and managed.

The Moorlnd Governance Centre is where UK and EU small and medium businesses keep their AI governance: AI tool, supplier, use-case and risk registers, vendor due diligence, the Acceptable Use Policy and staff sign-off, with a change history behind every record. Part of the Moorlnd Platform, reached by signing in to your portal.

What's inside

One place for your AI governance, built from records you enter once.

  • Know what AI is in use. The tools your people use, what for, and the suppliers behind them.
  • Decide and prove it. Risks, actions, approvals and a policy your staff acknowledge, with a dated record of every change.
  • See what needs doing. A dashboard that counts the gaps from your own records and tells you what to do next.
The Governance Dashboard: eight governance health figures, including open risks, unapproved AI and supplier reviews due, above the Needs attention list.
Supplier Due Diligence: Microsoft 365 Copilot with the mandatory questions answered so far, before a risk score and a go or no-go.
The Acceptable Use Policy: a draft at version 1.0 with a Publish to staff button, and the policy fields that fill its numbered sections.

How it fits together

Not separate documents: one chain, and the platform keeps the links.

  1. StartAn AI toolSomeone wants to use one, or it is already in use.
  2. StepRecord and assessThe tool, its use and its supplier.
  3. StepDecide and set the rulesRisks, actions, approval and policy.
  4. ResultEvidenceA dated trail an auditor can follow.

That chain is the difference between a document set and a management system. It is also what an auditor is really asking for when they ask to see your AI governance: not the policy, but the evidence you followed it.

Why it beats a folder of documents

  • It tells you what is outstanding. A folder cannot say “this supplier has not been reviewed” or “this mitigation is three weeks late”. The dashboard does, every time you open it.
  • Sign-off is tied to the version. Acknowledgements are recorded against the policy version they were given for, so rewriting the policy asks everyone to sign again. That is the bit people get wrong on paper.
  • Records an auditor can follow. Each record links to the one that produced it, so you can show a decision and the evidence behind it, organised the way an auditor asks for it.
  • It keeps up with the rules. Content is reviewed and updated at least quarterly as the EU AI Act, ISO/IEC 42001 and the NIST AI RMF move.
  • Training is included. Every Platform subscription includes the Moorlnd course for your staff, and completion feeds straight into your records.
  • Export whenever you like. Every section prints to PDF. Your evidence is yours, and leaving does not mean losing it.
The AI Risk Register: a data leakage risk with likelihood, impact, an inherent score, a named owner and a mitigation due date.
The Use Case Register: two use cases, each with an owner, the data it touches and a risk rating.
Incident Reports: none on file, with a button to log one the moment an incident is confirmed.

Who it’s for

IT Managers, Compliance Leads and Operations Directors who have to show the organisation is governing AI, not just talking about it. If you only need your people trained and the starter documents in place, Foundation is the cheaper starting point.
