Why Moorlnd

Moorland is some of the most beautiful country there is: wide open, full of possibility, and easy to get lost in. The weather turns, the mist comes down, and ground that looked solid turns out to be bog. People who cross it safely aren't the ones who stay at home. They're the ones who know where the marked paths are.

AI at work is the same. The opportunity is huge, but so are the hazards: customer data pasted into the wrong tool, confident answers that turn out to be made up, and new law arriving faster than most firms can read it. Banning AI doesn't work; your people will use it anyway. What works is marking the paths.

That's what Moorlnd does. We train your people, give you the policies and registers to govern AI, and keep the records that prove you're doing it properly, so your business can head out across open country with confidence.

The name comes from the moorland one of our founders calls home. Look closely at the logo: the sun is made from the letters a and i, AI rising over the moor, with the path leading to it.

Our experience

Built by people who work in AI governance, data protection and managed IT every day. Every module and template is mapped to the EU AI Act, ISO/IEC 42001 and the NIST AI RMF, and written for the person who has to act on it, not the lawyer who wrote it.
